Pre-K:
- Public Pre-K classes are located at each elementary school in Terrebonne Parish
- Children must be 4 years old by September 30th of the current year
- Applications are available at all elementary schools as well as the A.D. Martin Special Education and Federal Building (7573 Park Ave. Houma, LA, 70364)
- What does a parent need to apply?
- Proof of Income For every adult in the home (two recent pay stubs), or SNAP case details (includes child’s name, parent/guardian’s name, and expiration date-Must be current.)
- Proof of Domicile (Street) Address Homeowner – 2 current bills (water or electric)
- Renter – Lease and 1 current bill; Live with someone – Affidavit and two current bills for affiant.
- Child’s Birth Certificate
- Child’s Social Security Card
- Child’s Current Immunization (Shot) Record
Head Start
- Children must be 3 years old by September 30th of the current year.
- 4 year old children are welcome as well.
- Applications are available at 4800 Hwy 311, Houma, LA 70360.
- What does a parent need to apply?
- Proof of Income For every adult in the home (two recent pay stubs), or SNAP case details (includes child’s name, parent/guardian’s name, and expiration date-Must be current.)

- All Type III Early Learning Centers are part of our network.
- Child Care Assistance is accepted at all of our Early Learning Centers.
- Applications available at each Early Learning Center in our Network.
